A delegation of the Ghana Police Service has commiserated with the family of 25-year-old Stanley Ahadzi, who was shot after a disagreement over transport fare.
Adom News’ Selasi Amu reported that, they were led by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr George Akuffo Dampare to the family house at Chantan.
The unfortunate incident occurred at the frontage of the Koans Estate at Satellite- Kuntunse, Adjen Kotoku in the Greater Accra Region.
The Amasaman Police Division has identified the suspect as a commercial driver, who is also a policeman as Constable Smith Gyekyi with the International Relations Directorate.
The suspect following the incident was detained after he surrendered himself to the police at Amasaman as investigation and processes for prosecution continue.
The Regional Command led by DCOP Mr Arhin Kwesi Annor had earlier commiserated with the bereaved family.
