Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Cynthia Morrison has urged Ghanaian women to ignore Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi’s provocative comment against Ashanti, Fante and Ewe women across Ghana and remain focused in achieving their dreams.
To Hon Cynthia Morrison, though the outburst of the man of God, is demeaning to Ghanaian women, they should look at the brighter side of issues by focusing more on their strengths and how they can develop themselves.

Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, she said “I don’t think he (Badu Kobi) is a true man of God because his comments do not depict Christianity. There is no need for us to stretch this but remain focused in developing ourselves.”
The Minister added that “his comments do not reflect the generality of Ghanaian women because we have women who are hardworking and are the bread winners for their families and see their kids through school.”
Prophet Badu Kobi, Leader and Founder of Glorious Wave Chapel International, in a viral video which has received backlash, is seen and heard insulting Ashanti women as being materialistic, Fante women being fools and Ewe women being dormant. He simply said they are not marriage materials.
