Award-winning South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest, says he will not dare to try the popular ‘One Corner’ dance.
According to him, the media would say he is on drugs if he attempts to do the dance.
‘One Corner’, one of the biggest songs in Ghana last year, has seen people go gaga and partake in a social media challenge where they either perch on objects, go under cars, chairs or whatever they can find and do wild gyrating moves.

The song has transcended the borders of Ghana and made waves in Nigeria. Some Nigerian celebrities, including Mavin Record signee Reekado Banks and Falz, recorded themselves taking part in the ‘One Corner’ dance craze.
Asked if the song had reached South Africa, Cassper Nyovest told Andy Dosty in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM that although he knows about the song, South Africans have no idea about it.

“I’m schooled. I love African music but I’m the only one who probably knows about that [One Corner], they don’t know anything. South Africa is filled with a lot of ignorant people [who] listen to what they just listen to, they don’t look for music. So I’ve seen the videos,” he said.
He, however, added, “If I did that, I will be in the news [that] I’m on some drugs. They will be like ‘Cassper is on some drugs…we saw a video of him humping…everywhere jumping…”
