The International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) – Jesus Temple in Koforidua, led by its overseer Rev. Dickson Tuffour Sarpong, has celebrated Christmas with patients of the Eastern regional hospital.

Speaking to the patients, he encouraged them and Ghanaians in general to show love and forgiveness to one another, stating that it was the only way to maintain peace and stability in the nation.
Rev. Dickson Tuffour added that, the kind gesture was to share the love of Christ to patients enduring pain in the festive period.

The church fed over 600 patients, caregivers and health workers including Doctors who sacrificed their holiday to care for the patients.
The Christmas celebration with patients at the regional hospital forms part of the church’s social responsibility.

Acting medical director at the regional hospital Dr. Cardinal Newton, asserted that the kind gesture made by the church will have a positive psychological impact on the patients.
