Nollywood actress Chika Ike has strongly refuted rumors linking her romantically to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.
Since the announcement of her pregnancy some days ago, speculations have gone rife regarding the paternity of her child.
Gossipmongers identified Ned Nwoko as her child’s father, claiming that she has been in an amorous relationship with him for years and that they would be getting married soon.
However, Chika has flagged the reports as false, clarifying that she has no interest in being anyone’s seventh wife.
In her statement, Chika Ike expressed frustration over the constant false reports about her personal life, stating that she has chosen to remain private and does not feel the need to respond to baseless claims.
However, she made it clear that this particular rumor required a response because it involved her unborn child.
Dismissing the claims, she categorically stated that Ned Nwoko is not the father of her child and that she has no connection to polygamy.
She highlighted how her pregnancy remained undisclosed for months, proving how little the public truly knows about her personal affairs.
Chika wrote,
“Ned isn’t the father of my child and whoever’s name you might come up with later with your guessing games. Like I’ve said before, I’m not about to be anyone’s 7th wife! Polygamy isn’t for me.
“I’ve been pregnant for months now, and no one even had a clue about my pregnancy until I announced it. And you all think you’ll know who the father of my child is or anything happening in my life? Very laughable and clueless!
“Keep digging and coming up with your false news. I don’t care about rumours because I understand it comes with my career choice. The only reason I’m responding to this rumour is because this is about my child. My privacy is my peace, and NO ONE can unsettle me. I’m basking in the euphoria of my pregnancy, and that’s all that matters to me now.”
