National Youth Coordinator for the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP), Divine Nkrumah, says he is disappointed in President Akufo-Addo for backtracking on the December 17 referendum.
Mr Nkrumah is particularly frustrated at the extent to which the politicisation of matters within the public space is sending Ghana backward.
It is this over-politicisation of issues that has frustrated the PPP man to say he wouldn’t mind being “bagged and shipped out of Ghana” to any destination, adding that the NDC and NPP are making life in Ghana stressful.
“Ghana is no longer exciting, I want to leave, I wish to be bagged out of Ghana,” he declared sorrowfully.

Mr Nkrumah who was speaking on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem Monday, said the president’s termination of the referendum process at this point in time, makes no sense.
He further noted that the President only addressed the NDC and not Ghanaians because they (the NDC) were the ones who opposed the process hence the President should have just written to them only.
“Are we doing this because of the NDC? Why should everything be reduced to NPP and NDC, and suddenly NDC wants to act smart as if someone was failing and they wanted to do something right,” he said.
