The Deputy Operations Director at the office of the First Lady Evangelist Perpetual Asante has advised the youth in politics not to forsake God in the pursuit of their political ambitions.
Evangelist Perpetual Asante in an interview with Maame Akua on Asempa FM’s mid-morning show dubbed “Abrabo” reiterated that she has been through a lot in life but her faith in Christ kept her dreams alive.
“I was forced into prostitution when I first arrived in Accra” I used to stand at Circle and sometimes Caprice to look for men to sleep with to earn a daily bread’.
The Deputy Operations Director said, the difficulties in life forced her into prostitution just to survive.
According to her, though she was into prostitution, she still per pursued her dream to be a great woman in life.
Miss Asante revealed that her encounter with on her clients was the turning point in life.
“After that encounter, I decided never to practice prostitution again but rather help people in their shop to enable me start a petty trade”.
She said her decision drove her to meet lots of business women who she served and they also assisted her to start her own small business where she became the head of association of a group of pedestrian traders.
Due to her position, Madam Asante she join the NPP’s campaign trail leading to the victory of the party in election 2016 where she was appointed any aide to the first lady.
