Veteran highlife musician Nana Tuffour says inasmuch as he wanted to pursue his education, he couldn’t due to his focus on doing music.
According to him, he discovered his talent at a young age hence was making enough money from music and playing shows, the reason he couldn’t pay attention to his academics.

The “Abeiku” hitmaker told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM that “I was making money so I don’t know why I would waste my time. I was a science student and the end product was to make money.
“It’s my talent so how do I get away from it? Going to school is alright but I was willing to make it my own way,” he said.
Nana Tuffour was the frontman of the Waza Africo Band in the 70’s.

In 1979, he released his first album Highlife Romance and has since released other hit albums.
He has won many excellence awards and his last album, “Abeiku”, was very popular among the old and the young.
