I was insecure at a point in my career – Nana Yaa

Ghanaian singer and daughter of legendary Pat Thomas, Nana Yaa says she went through a lot to do music.

According to her, even after collaborating with Kojo Antwi on popular “Amirika” song, she wasn’t sure of herself at a point in her music career.

Asked if she had any regrets for choosing music on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, the “My Hunny” musician said, “…I went through lots of what-ifs and insecurities so I was skeptic and I was relying much on people and that’s the main thing I think I regret.”

Opening up further, Nana Yaa continued that, “I have had lots of disappointments but It’s part of life. I get it everyday with writers, producers, you have to just stand strong and move. But with musicians, I have had so many disappointments,“ she disclosed.

She further urged her colleague musicians to show her love by sharing her works on their various social media pages.

“They don’t support. I think it artistes gave me a little bit of support, I would be big by now. They should talk about my works. They don’t like, share or tweet about it. Don’t ignore me,” she pleaded.
