Father of songstress Ebony, Nana Poku Kwarteng, popularly known as Starboy Kwarteng, has described his late daughter as a gem and a queen from birth.
In an interview following the tragic death of the 20-year-old musician, Mr Kwarteng described his daughter Ebony, real name, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng as special because she was beyond human.
According to the father, he saw a crown on the head of his daughter and whispered to the mum that “this lady is a queen” and wasn’t surprised with his daughter’s influence in the music industry.
Starboy Kwartey said the works of her daughter tells it all and “you don’t need a spiritualist to tell you how special the daughter was.
“I never named my daughter, the name ‘Nana Ohemaa’ was from the crown I saw on my daughter’s head,” he added.
On why he supported his daughter to drop out of school for music, Mr Kwarteng added that “when a queen speaks, subjects do not question but rather comply.”
He said Ebony was a child
of authority and the family will forever miss her.
Mr Kwarteng added that he himself feared his daughter because of the authority she had.
Mr Kwarteng said, he never sent the daughter to any spiritualist to demand power or authority and he himself hasn’t gone to any seer also.
He made these revelations when speaking to Afia Pokua (Vim Lady) on Vim Talk.
