The Paramount Chief of the Karaga Traditional Area in Dagbon, Naa Bakpem KarNaa Abdulai Natogmah, has expressed his fervent hope that God will grant Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the opportunity to lead Ghana in the December 7 elections.
He believes that, the NPP flagbearer has the potential and capability to lead the country to prosperity.
The Paramount Chief made these remarks when the NPP flagbearer and his entourage paid him a courtesy visit as part of their tour of the Northern Region.
Naa Bakpem KarNaa Abdulai Natogmah also commended Dr Bawumia for facilitating rapid development in Karaga over the years.
He expressed his appreciation for the efforts made and expressed confidence that Dr Bawumia would accomplish even more with the mandate.
He mentioned that he had been following the NPP flagbearer’s campaigns in the media and on social media, and commended him for conducting a clean, issue-based campaign without resorting to insults.
The Paramount Chief observed that the focus on uniting Ghanaians and promoting development and peace through positive politics was the right approach.
Commenting on the government’s achievements, Naa Bakpem Natogmah stated, “I am a keen follower of your work, and I have seen the information being disseminated, and I am impressed.”
“I commend the government for the Free SHS program, which has benefited everyone,” he added.
He emphasized that the government had ensured equal access to national resources through the Free SHS Program and encouraged Dr Bawumia to continue such initiatives if given the opportunity.
