Asante Kotoko legend, Sarfo Gyamfi has said he owes no one an apology for saying Hearts of Oak ladies are the reason why Songne Yacouba is not able to score for Asante Kotoko anymore.
The former Black Stars player after Asante Kokoko game against ZESCO United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the CAF Confederations Cup attributed Songne Yacouba’s six-game goal drought to certain ladies of Hearts of Oak.
After those comments, President of Hearts Ladies, Vincentia Deku is out demanding an apology after those comments from the former Kotoko defender but he still insists what he said is the truth.
“About five years ago, Kotoko and Hearts played at the Accra Sports Stadium. Immediately our bus alighted, we found out that, five Kumasi ladies [Hearts of Oak fans] were at the entrance of the dressing room, they came to show their breasts to the players. It took the police to drive them away after beating them. I even gave them money from my own pocket to help them go back to Kumasi because; they complained they lost their money.” He narrated.
“I will not apologize for saying that unless she tells me the reason why they brought those Hearts of Oak ladies from Kumasi to Accra five years ago.” He told Asempa Sports.
“I know them [possessed Hearts of Oak ladies]; I was in Kumasi with them. So I don’t see any problem with it when I advise my player not to go closer to these women.” He added
Asante Kotoko will play Nkana FC on Sunday in the CAF Confederation Cup at the Nkana Sports Stadium in Kitwe.
