Ghanaian sensational singer, Gregory Bortey Newman popularly known as King Promise says he never though he would collaborate with Tema-based musicians, Sarkodie and Mugeez of R2Bees fame.
Speaking in an interview with Jerry Justice on Adom FM’s Drive Time show “Ofie Kwanso”, King Promise disclosed that it was surprising to have the two top acts on his “CCTV” song.
Narrating the incidents that led to them featuring on the song, the “Selfish” hitmaker said the initial plan was to sing and own the song but Mugeez walked into engineer Killbeatz’s studio and featured on the song.

He noted that, Sarkodie gave his verse some days after honouring an appointment he had with him.

“I was gonna take a break from the studio and Mugeez walked in and jumped on the song. Later we thought about putting Sark on the song. I never imagined doing a song with these two artistes. I was supposed to see Sark so he gave in his verse after listening to it. he is super busy so he did it quick…” King Promise told Jerry Justice.
King Promise is currently promoting his song dubbed: “Abena”.
