Mohammed Kudus

Malian football legend, Frederic Kanoute has expressed his admiration for Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus.

Kudus has been making headlines due to his stellar performances in his debut Premier League season.

He scored 14 goals for West Ham and played a pivotal role in their Europa League campaign, which ended in the quarterfinals with a loss to Bayer Leverkusen.

Kanoute, a former Barcelona FC star, praised the 23-year-old, noting his appreciation for Kudus’ versatile style of play.

“I would like to see young players like Mohammed Kudus from West Ham,” Kanoute told 3Sports.

“I think he has been really good, and I really like his style of play. It is very versatile on the pitch.”

Kudus has been linked to Saudi Arabian clubs in the ongoing summer transfer window, with Liverpool also showing interest in the former Ajax player.

Kudus recently played a key role in Ghana’s back-to-back wins against Mali and the Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
