Head Coach of Elmina Sharks, Yaw Acheampong, is beaming with confidence after his side defeated West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) last Saturday in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
WAFA SC suffered their first defeat of the season in the 2-0 reverse against Elmina Sharks at the Baba Yara Stadium.
In an interview with Asempa FM’s Kobby Stonne, Acheampong said “even if we meet WAFA four times in a row, we will beat them because I have studied them and I know how they play”.
“I know how to stop them”, he added.
Before Saturday night’s game, Elmina Sharks had played two matches without a win, first losing 1-0 to Dreams FC on match day one and drawing goalless with Aduana Stars on match day two.
This is Elmina Sharks’ first win of the season and they are 11th on the league log with 4 points while WAFA are second with 7 points.
