Member of Parliament (MP) for Asawase Constituency, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, has claimed that he is doing better than his colleague Mr Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, MP for Suame Constituency in the Ashanti region.
“Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, is doing well in Parliament, but at the constituency level I am doing far better than him, and there is no doubt about it,” he said.

“If his constituents disagree with me, they should just examine the things Osei Bonsu has done in the constituency so far to determine how he has bettered their lives,” he said on Nhyira FM’s KuroYi Mu Nsem on Thursday.

His comments follow a question posed to him on why he is contesting for a parliamentary seat for the fourth time in the 2020 general election.

“Someone has been in parliament for more than 20 years and people are questioning me when I will retire. Just as Osei Mensah-Bonsu has been in parliament for the past 24 years, I will do same and more and then retire afterwards,” he noted.
