Veteran Ghanaian actress, Julie Juu, known for her role in “Cantata,” has described her migration from Ghana to the United Kingdom (UK) as one of the best decisions she has ever made.

Having been a resident in the UK for over a decade, Julie Juu explained that though she has no regrets about relocating, she did not initially intend to stay for long.

In an exclusive interview with Zionfelix, she shared that, her initial trip to the UK was to visit her children as compensation for missing their graduation ceremonies.

During that period, her husband, Nana Bosomprah died and felt she had nothing to return to in Ghana.

“After my husband passed away, I felt incredibly lonely and sought solace in my children’s company. Losing your husband suddenly is not easy. I was so happy being with them that I decided to stay,” she said.

Julie Juu noted that, she has no regrets about her decision. “I believe if I were living in Ghana, by now I would have been weak and frail with a wrinkled body. At the moment, even if I stopped working, my children would take care of me.”

Comparing living conditions in Ghana and the UK, Julie Juu said life in Ghana cannot be compared to life overseas. She emphasized that she is living a very comfortable life free from difficulties.
