I don’t have a glam squad – Nana Konadu

-

In the history of Ghanaian first ladies, there is no doubt that Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings will stand out as one of the most fashionable if not the most fashionable.

The former first lady is always well put together; from her clothes to her accessories and make up, everything is always on point and it is clear that she has brought to the degree she got in Art with a Textiles option at the then University of Science and Technology, to bear in her style.

In an age where public figures put together glam squads to take care of their image and their looks, it will not be far-fetched to assume that Nana Konadu also does it.

However, in a quick interview with her at this year’s Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Awards, she said she was her own stylist.

“I don’t have any glam squad, I don’t have anyone who tells me what to wear, I wear what I want to wear, nothing like a glam squad. Nothing really goes into my looks or what I put on,” Nana Konadu told Graphic Showbiz.

The EMY Awards came off at the Kempinski Hotel in August 18. The event saw in attendance Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State emerging the ultimate Man of the Year.
