Dr Maurice Ampaw, a private legal Practitioner, has said that he is capable of helping the families of the kidnapped Takoradi girls recover the bones of the deceased girls for burial.
“Death makes one a property of his or her family. The family has the right to ask of the bones of the girls. However, a court process must be followed. I can help the family retrieve the bones of their dead family members.”
Lawyer Ampaw made this known to Nana Afrifa Mensah on the ‘Epahoa Daben’ show.
The families of the three kidnapped girls have refuted forensic reports by the Ghana Police that prove their children are dead.
They have, therefore, asked that the remains of the girls be made available to them for further DNA tests and burial of these remains should the new reports come out positive.
