I bought V8 out of Planting for Foods and Jobs – NDC MP

Former Member of Parliament for Ejura Sekyedumase Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Alhaji Mohammed Issifu Pangadu says he was able to purchase a V8 Landcruiser vehicle from New Patriotic Party’s Planting for Food and Jobs scheme.

Endorsing the policy on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen political show on Thursday, he said: “I believe in the planting for food and jobs because it worked for me. I gained a reasonable amount of money out of it and got myself a V8”.

He also urged members of his party to endorse the policy which is meant to better the lives of Ghanaians than resort to politicising it.

The Planting for food and jobs is a five-year-long policy which is geared towards increasing food production and ensure food security for the country as well as reduce food import bills to the barest minimum.

It is also an avenue to modernise agriculture and make it a source of employment for the teeming youths.

This is an initiative implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture under the ticket of the incumbent government
