The Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign Team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has personally apologized to every member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the loss in the 2024 election.
“Sincerely, I am sorry. Our responsibility was to win the elections, but since we didn’t, I personally apologize. I wanted the party to win, but unfortunately, we didn’t. So, I ask that everyone forgive us,” he said in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show.
The Director of Communications acknowledged that the team did everything within their power to secure a victory, but the desired outcome was not achieved.
“We did all we could, and if it didn’t happen, I ask that you forgive us,” he explained.
In the face of the NPP’s significant loss to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which political commentators have described as a historic defeat, Mr. Aboagye remains optimistic and has urged unity among party members.
He concluded, “If we come together, we will come back stronger.”
