Ghanaian midfielder, Thomas Partey is focused on avoiding injuries and competing in the upcoming 2024/25 football season.
The 30-year-old missed 29 games for his club last season, contributing to their failure to secure the Premier League title.
Partey’s injury issues have been a concern for the club over the past two seasons. Despite this, he remains determined to fight for the Gunners.
“I am doing my best to be more consistent and stay fit. It is an everyday job. I cannot give up and need to keep going,” Partey told Hayters TV.
“It’s life! Things happen and sometimes they are things you cannot control. I have to keep going and keep fighting. Every time I fall, I have to get up and fight back. That is the mentality I have. I also think that any time I can help the team, that is what I have to do” he added.
Partey has one year remaining on his contract at the Emirates, set to expire at the end of the 2024/25 season.
The former Atletico Madrid midfielder is currently in the USA with his Arsenal team mates, preparing for the upcoming season.
