How MP allegedly squeezed Dafeamekpor’s balls during vetting chaos [Listen]

Akim Oda Member of Parliament (MP) Alexander Akwasi Acquah has detailed how South Dayi MP and Majority Chief Whip, Rockson Nelson-Dafeamekpor was allegedly assaulted during the chaotic vetting session last Thursday.

Amidst the tension, Mr. Acquah claimed that one MP crawled under the table and squeezed Mr. Dafeamekpor’s private parts so hard, causing him to scream in pain.

According to him, the incident took place while no one understood what was wrong with Dafeamekpor, as the moment was not captured on camera.

He disclosed this in an interview on Kumasi-based Oyerepa TV, stating that he saw the suspect MP crawl under the table. However, he refused to reveal the name of the suspect MP.

“The MP crawled on the floor and went under the table, but I didn’t understand why. Dafeamekpor screamed in so much pain, and nobody knew what was happening, but it was not captured on camera,” he stated.

The turmoil erupted during the vetting of ministerial nominees Kwabena Mintah Akandoh and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, as tensions flared between the Minority and Majority caucuses.

The Minority, insisting that prior discussions warranted a postponement, proposed rescheduling the vetting to Friday. However, the Majority firmly opposed the suggestion, arguing that the process must proceed as planned.

The disagreement escalated into physical confrontations, with some Minority members damaging tables and microphones in an attempt to halt proceedings.

Following the widely condemned incident, Speaker Alban Bagbin on Friday suspended four MPs and instituted a bipartisan committee to probe and submit its report within 10 days.

The affected MPs are Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor (Majority Chief Whip), Frank Annoh-Dompreh (Minority Chief Whip), Alhassan Sulemana Tampuli (Gushegu MP), and Jerry Ahmed Shaib (Weija-Gbawe MP).
