Legal practitioner Maurice Ampaw has revealed how he met his second wife after the passing of his first wife in the Ashanti Region.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, he expressed sadness during that period while in Accra and decided to relocate to the Ashanti region.
According to lawyer Ampaw, it was in the Ashanti region that he found his beautiful second wife.
“After the death of my first wife, I was in Accra and feeling very sad. I decided to move to the Ashanti region, where I eventually found my beautiful wife. I went to stay in Offinso, and that’s where I met her. We now have twins together. I am currently living in the Ashanti region and have been actively involved in elevating the Ashanti kingdom. I found my second wife here, and I have no intentions of leaving or causing any harm.
“Nothing will make me leave the Ashanti region. I hold great respect for their traditions, and I am not ready to damage the relationships I have built here. I cannot disrespect the Ashanti people, and I am well-known in the region.” he said.
Regarding his popularity, lawyer Ampaw mentioned, “I am so popular in the Ashanti region that even when it comes to basic needs like food and drink, people love me and provide for me.”
This revelation comes in the midst of legal troubles for lawyer Ampaw, who was summoned on Monday, January 22, following his earlier statements that were perceived as derogatory towards some chiefs in the Ashanti region.
