Popular Ghanaian artiste, King Paluta has reacted to a viral video of a church congregation dancing to his latest song, “Makoma.”
The video, shared on X by user EdHub, shows a lively congregation singing and dancing to the song during a live service.
In a humorous response, King Paluta quipped, “Make nobody write apology letter come again o,” referencing a previous incident where Rev. Father Peter Kusi Twumasi, Acting Rector of St. Stephen Rectorate in Bodomase, Ashanti Region, apologized for leading his congregation in singing King Paluta’s “Aseda” during a church service.
The earlier viral video, which showed the congregation joyfully singing along, sparked mixed reactions.
The priest later explained that he was carried away and did not intend to disrespect Catholic Church traditions by allowing a secular song in a sacred space.
King Paluta’s songs, known for their inspirational messages, have found their way into various settings, including wedding ceremonies, political rallies, and churches.
