Members of the Global Evangelical Church at Techie Century Road in Accra where the late Airman Lance Corporal Vondee Atsu Francis was a member couldn’t hold their tears on Sunday during their usual Sunday service.

The airman who was a guitarist in the church until his unfortunate demise last Thursday following the accident that also killed dancehall queen, Ebony Reigns, was fondly remembered by members of the church for his love for music.
In his honour, the church hanged his guitar during service went and every time the officiating minister mentioned his name and turned to the guitar, the congregation followed with wailing and tears.

Some members of the church who spoke about him said Francis was such a noble person with a constant smile on his face but fondly remember him more for his love for music and particular guitars.
Several Videos that have emerged of the fallen airman have him either playing a guitar of a drum.

The Ghana Arm Forces in a statement has said it will evacuation the airman’s body before investigating his conduct to, among other things, determine the circumstances that led to the accident with the view of putting measures in place to if possible avoid or minimize occurrence of similar incidents.
“In the instant case of this Airman, it is stressed that investigations are being instituted to unravel the full circumstances surrounding the sad incident”, a statement signed by Director Public Relations, Colonel Eric Aggrey-Quashie read.
