National Vice Chairperson of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anita Desoso, has descended heavily on critics of the party who have criticized the party’s rebuilding efforts.
Madam Desoso hit at critics of her party’s rebuilding programs such as the “unity walks” including flagbearer hopeful, Dr. Ekow Spio-Garbrah.

Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, recently told TV3 that the series of unity walks being organised by the party are not sanctioned by the National Executive Council, the highest decision-making body of the NDC.
The former Minister of Trade and Industry told host Kwakye Afreh-Nuamah that the walks which are widely patronized are not organised by the party.
“Those walks are currently not being organized by the party as NDC, but the NDC people have taken part in them,” he told 3FM’s Kwakye Afreh-Nuamah on Wednesday.

Dr. Spio-Garbrah said the “Unity Walks” were not unifying.
But Madam Anita Desoso has dispelled the assertions of Dr. Spio-Garbrah, describing his claim as false.
She told Accra-based Okay FM that the walks are achieving the desired objectives, adding the party is “very satisfied”.
She indicated that the move is to prevent members who have still not gotten over the shock to socialize with other members and not continue to stay in their rooms.

“Those criticizing the walk should keep quiet and join hands to bring victory to the party. We have to come together united and stop attacking people.
“I think those engaged in such acts don’t know what politics is about. It’s not about insults. Even in heaven, there is politics. Let’s all support our own,” she said.
