Hot audio: I predicted a fire disaster – Owusu Bempah

-

The founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah has said that the gas explosion that occurred at the Atomic Junction in Accra on Saturday, October 7, 2017 did not come as a shock to him.

According to him, he had once predicted a fire disaster during an all-night service at his church on 31st of December 2016 but members of the church prayed to avert it.

“On 31st December, 2016, God shows me a lot of things that will happen in the following year. This 31st I didn’t see anything concerning the Atomic junction gas explosion but I predicted a fire tragedy and we prayed about it.

“I told one of the brothers something will happen in Accra and if it doesn’t rain it will be disastrous. I didn’t talk about Gas but in my church, I said about a fire that will cause damage” he said.

Rev. Isaac Owusu was speaking on Adom FM’s Morning Show ‘Dwaso Nsem’ Tuesday.

Seven persons have been confirmed dead, while 132 sustained various degrees of injuries in the multiple explosions that started from the Mansco Gas Station and extended to the adjacent Total Filling Station.

Sixty-four of the injured persons were treated and discharged, while 68 are still receiving medical treatment in six different health facilities.

Some of the health facilities treating victims of the explosion are the Pentecost Hospital in Madina, the 37 Military Hospital, the Ridge Hospital and the Police Hospital.

Owusu Bempah has in previous instances prophesied happenings in Ghana – many of which have come to pass.

But some Ghanaians, including clergymen, have described him as a prophet of doom and a person who thrives on ‘fear and panic’.

However, reacting to the unfortunate incident, Prophet Owusu Bempah said he is not bothered about the criticisms after a prophesy.

He indicated that, God reveals to redeem thus has asked his church members to fast and pray to avert any more fire disasters.

“I think apart from the spiritual endeavours we have to put some measures in place. Disasters are bound to happen. Even in Jesus Christ’s era it happened.  If you haven’t accepted God disasters can occur to you but you will blame it to physical world but God can save whoever prays to him in times of calamity. In the physical realm we know that it is gas that exploded but we don’t know what happened in the Spiritual realm” he stressed.

Prophet Owusu Bempah however called on all Ghanaians to intercede on behalf of Ghana.
