Married women have been advised to be bold and report any form of abuse they may suffer to the police.

Controversial counselor, George Lutterodt, who made the point said most married women are in a hurry to speak to their pastors when they are abused, a situation he says is the cause of violence in most marriages.

Mr. George Lutterodt said married women should not keep marriage ordeals to themselves and become traumatized whilst the offenders walked about freely and continue to prey on other people.

“When your husband abuses you as a married woman, your first point [sic] of call should be the police station. Go and report him because it’s a civil [sic] law. Don’t run to your pastor because he blessed your marriage. It’s useless to do that”, he said on Adom TV’s Morning Show, “Badwam” Thursday.

“After he beats you, you cry for some time to let the pain wane and you recover from it. You are afraid because if you report it to the police, your marriage ends automatically; allow it to end and don’t run to the pastor”, he argued.
