Hot audio: Kotoko won ‘chamber pot’ not FA Cup – Aziz Haruna Futah

-

An ardent supporter of Accra Hearts of Oak has mocked the FA cup won by Kumasi Asante Kotoko describing it as “chamber pot”.

Aziz Haruna Futah maintained that, the FA Cup is nothing compared to the Confederations cup his club won years ago.

“Why is Kotoko making so much noise after winning the FA Cup? Is this one too a cup, you have won chamber pot you say you have won a cup” the former Management member of Hearts of Oak he fumed.

Asante Kototo secured the 2017 MTN FA Cup with a stunning 3-1 victory over arch-rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday October 29, 2017.

The Porcupine Warriors were head and shoulders above the Phobians and raced into a three-nil first-half lead courtesy striker Saddick Adams.

Hearts came back strongly in the second half but their efforts could only earn them a consolation goal courtesy Thomas Abbey.

Based on this sterling performance, the Board Chairman of Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei is set to reward each player GH¢5,000 for beating the Phobians 3-1 to clinch their ninth FA Cup trophy.

But Aziz Haruna Futah on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports show Monday said winning FA Cup is nothing extra ordinary.

He indicated that, the FA Cup final is like a community gala thus could not fathom the noise being made about it.

Aziz Haruna Futah promised of a proper showdown in Hearts of Oak’s next encounter with arch-rival Kotoko.
