Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Nkansah has called the bluff of the MP for Assin Central in the Central Region, Kennedy Agyapong over threat of ending his life if the brother of the former President, Ibrahim Mahama is not jailed.
He has vowed to poison himself if Ibrahim Mahama is not arrested and prosecuted for allegedly engaging in corrupt practices and invading taxes.
The vociferous MP made the threat after the MP for Juaboso, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh called his bluff for calling for the arrest of Ibrahim Mahama.
The former Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources urged the NPP MP to stop ‘talking like an MP in opposition’ and rather provide his evidence to the security to be acted upon.
This comment angered Ken Agyapong who insisted he has more evidence to back his claims and hence threatened that: “if Akandoh claims I am digressing, I put my life on the line…I will take in poison if he is not jailed” he said on Adom TV’s Morning Show “Badwam” Thursday.

But describing Mr Agyapong’s claim as a mere propaganda, the NDC communicator dared him to go ahead and end his life because it will be beneficial to his family.
“If Kennedy Agyapong claims he will drink poison and end his life, he should go ahead because it will save his family from disgrace because Ken himself knows that his family have always been worried about his behavior and so killing yourself is the best thing to do” he stated.
