Hot Audio: I didn’t over dress – Adisco Headmaster

-

Headmaster of Adisadel College, William Kusi-Yeboah says his costume for the grand finale of the 2017 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) at the National Theatre Thursday was perfect for occasion.

“I saw some trolling on social media about my attire for the occasion but they don’t expect a whole headmaster like myself to be in T- Shirt for such a prestigious show and so I take every funny comment in good faith. For me I didn’t over dress at all” he said.

Prempeh College secured the bragging privilege as winners of the 2017 National Science & Maths Quiz after beating reigning champions Adisadel College and St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School.

Mr Kusi-Yeboah represented his school in his outstanding ‘Zebra’ suit which has won the admiration of many.

The suit made him stand out very well with people mistaking him for a young Santaclausian while others loved his passion for the school.

At the end of the competition, Prempeh College obtained 53pts with St. Thomas Aquinas emerging 2nd with 51pvts, followed by Adisadel College with 31pts.

It was a tight competition as students from the three schools were engaged in a serious mind battle till the end of the final round.

This is Prempeh College’s fourth title, whereas Aquinas won in 2013 and Adisadel winning for the first time in 2016.

But speaking on Adom FM’s Morning Show “Dwaso Nsem” Friday Mr. William Kusi said he is also a proud old student of the school and could not have dressed ordinarily.

He believes he was only portraying the symbols and the identity of his Alma Mata.

“I thought my school was going for the cup but unfortunately we didn’t. It was indeed a high profile competition and don’t expect me to be ordinary, never.

“I bought my zebra tie from USA, North Carolina because I wanted to look different. My costume was just perfect for occasion. Honestly there is nothing wrong with y suit because you will never see it in any part of the world except in Adisco” he stressed.
