National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is calling for the immediate prosecution of thugs who stormed and locked up the office of the Chief Executive Officer of the Tamale Teaching Hospital, Dr. David Akolbila.
Henry Nana Boakye said the party will not protect any member or group involved in such “despicable act”.
The CEO of the Hospital David Kolbila was chased out and his office locked after a group, identified as Kandahar boys accused him of mismanagement, corruption and nepotism.

It’s almost 24 hours since these thugs believed to be NPP activists stormed and locked up the office of the Chief Executive Officer of the Tamale Teaching Hospital, however, police are yet to apprehend the perpetrators.
Although a video of the incident has gone viral, no one has been arrested as yet.
But on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday, Nana Boakye said the group is not affiliated to the Kandahar boys.

He indicated that, the thugs are not known party members thus are assisting the police to arrest the perpetrators.
The NPP National Youth Organizer maintained that, such act of lawlessness was not sanctioned by the youth wing of the party.
“We will not shield any party member involved in this shameful act because the NPP as a lawful party does not condone such lawlessness” he fumed.

Nana Boakye urged the police in Tamale to arrest members of the group and make them face the full rigour of the law.
