Veteran Actor Abeiku Sagoe is on the quest to promote patriotism in Ghanaians, especially the youth through his newest project starting with his most-anticipated play dubbed “The Fears of Adwoa Amissah”.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, the actor said the project, “Heritage Theatre Series” consists of historical events and personalities whose stories will be told through drama.
“What I’m doing is picking historical events and personalities and putting their stories in drama.”

He expressed his dismay towards the unpatriotic attitude portrayed by Ghanaians, especially the youth.
“I am appalled at the lack of patriotism in this country, the youth of today, history has been taken out of the classroom and they just walk about not knowing the history…. We are killing the words in the patriotic song,” he said.

According to the actor, the Heritage Theatre Series will help remind Ghanaians of their roots and teach the youth to be patriotic.
The first play “The Fears of Adwoa Amissah”, a true story of a woman’s instincts is set to be staged on August 31, 2018, at Elmina.
