Communications Director for Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has promised that the team will soon start securing victories to honour the club’s majority shareholder, Togbe Afede XIV.
This assurance comes in the wake of a disappointing start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season for the Phobian Club.
Currently, Hearts of Oak is at the bottom of the league table, having failed to earn any points from their opening matches against Basake Holy Stars and Heart of Lions.
Acknowledging the poor performance, Opare Addo emphasized that Togbe Afede XIV expects better results from the team.
He assured that, the squad is focused on achieving victories to meet this expectation.
“What Togbe Afede XIV demands from us is to win and bring glory to him, and that is what we are working on to ensure we return to winning ways,” he told Asempa FM on the Ultimate Sports Show.
Hearts of Oak will face Bechem United in their matchday three fixture this weekend.
