Hearts of Oak react to sacking of coach reports

-

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frederick N.K. Moore says Hearts have no plans of sacking head coach, Kim Tyrone Grant amid media speculations.

Speaking to Asempa Sports, the former CEO of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana insisted that the coach is an integral part of the club so far as their aims and the direction are concerned.

Mr Moore assured that the club is embarking on a long term plan and that a vision cannot be achieved without Kim and his technical team.

Kim and his team are working; the Board, the chairman and myself appreciate what he is doing. Nobody has got any plans of sacking him. I don’t think or dream about it,” he assured.

“Our aim and focus is to make Accra Hearts of Oak the greatest; not just in West Africa or Africa, we want to achieve consistently and everything we do will be to achieve that,” he said.

“The coach is part of the setup, the technical team is part of the setup and we have got an objective that we are trying to meet and a target we are meeting and as long as we are doing that we don’t even think of sacking the coach,” he added.

Grant officially began work at Hearts of Oak on December 1, 2018.
