Hearts of Oak has refuted claims that head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara has been given a five-match ultimatum to improve the team’s performance.

The club started the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season with a disappointing 1-0 loss to league newcomers Basake Holy Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.

In an official statement, Hearts of Oak labelled the reports as “completely false and fabricated,” urging fans and the public to disregard them.

Since his appointment in February 2024, Ouattara has struggled with a record of more losses (8) than wins (7).

Hearts of Oak is now preparing for an away game against Heart of Lions in Kpando for their second match of the season.
