Executive Board Chairman of Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV, has pledged that the club’s leadership is dedicated to creating the best football team in the country.
This statement came after the club’s Board of Directors officially received the newly built Commercial Centre.
Following a narrow escape from relegation with a 14th-place finish last season, Togbe Afede XIV emphasized the club’s determination to enhance its player roster, much like its recent advancements in infrastructure.
“Management is committed, the board is committed to assembling the best squad possible. Sometimes it takes time because some constraints are beyond your control.
“You may want a player who is not available… to ensure that professional-wise, we are solid, management-wise we are solid, in terms of players, we are solid. We are happy that we are building strengths across all the sectors of football,” he added.
Hearts of Oak will commence their 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season with a home game against Basake Holy Stars.
