Ghana Premier League giant, Hearts of Oak have emerged favourites to sign former Medeama SC coach Tom Strand.
Sports World is reporting that negotiations between the Phobians and the former Swedish trainer are at advanced stages. He is expected to fly into the country to finalize the deal.
Hearts of Oak are on the lookout for a substantive coach after the exit of Portuguese trainer, Sergio Traguil. Henry Wellington was named as a stand in coach.
Strand established himself with Medeama SC, guiding them to 2015 FA glory and consequently leading the Tarkwa charges to the group stages of the Confederation Cup before exiting the club in an unfriendly manner.
The 35-year-old had brief stints with premiership side, Bechem United and Academy side Golden Boot before leaving for Tarkwa.
