According to him, the Board of Directors are yet to arrive at a perfect candidate from the short listed applicants.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, the club’s official mouthpieces explained that their outfit received various applications from all over the world and are yet to settle on the most competent candidate.
Refusing to accept that the club has concluded on an American director, Mr. Addo said they were still reviewing short-listed applications.
“Both blacks and foreigners have applied for the job but we need to pick a competent manager who can also help raise funds for the club, make it self-sustaining and not rely on the board of Directors all the time”, Opare said.

“The Board has short-listed some applicants and will soon name one. It could be a black man or not. We only need a competent Director to lead the club”.
