Ghana football legend, Rev.Osei Kofi has stated that the two most glamorous clubs in the country, Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak are not just ordinary football clubs but religions.
Rev. Osei Kofi was a winner of the 1965 Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana, emerging the joint-top scorer as well as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament hosted in Tunisia.
According to the ‘Wizard Dribbler’ ,players who sacrifice for these clubs especially Kotoko, stands to gain a lot of blessings.
“Hearts of Oak are not ordinary football clubs, therefore when you sacrifice for them you get a lot of blessings but most especially Kotoko”,he stated in an interview with Prof.Wallace on the Sportsnite show.
“I witnessed this especially with the Porcupine warriors”.
Rev.Kofi played for both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in a successful career during the 1960s.
