Heartbreaking scenes unfolded earlier today as family, friends, and classmates gathered at the Kumasi-Patasi Trinity Baptist Church to bid a sorrowful farewell to Afia Dedaa Osae-Atuah.
The funeral was marked by an outpouring of grief, with mourners clad in black and white paying their respects to a young life cut short.
Classmates from KNUST spoke of her warm personality and academic dedication, while her family mourned the devastating loss of a beloved daughter.
Dedaa is the third-year Geography student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) who lost her life in the gory Kumasi accident.
She tragically lost her life when a speeding trotro veered off course and struck her and another pedestrian as they waited by the roadside for a commercial vehicle.
She was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries hours later.
Her funeral comes just two weeks after the unfortunate incident.
