Head Coach of Medeama SC, Augustine Evans Adotey has stated that he is no longer interested in coaching the club.
The Ghana national female Under-17 coach has been with the Tarkwa-based side for over five seasons where he has held different roles including the club’s technical director.
The former Ashantigold trainer says he want to focus on his Black maidens job and thus is ready to end his five-year association with the Mauve and Yellows .
According coach Adotey, he can no longer combine the two jobs therefore he is ready to step down as head coach of Medeama.
“I can’t combine both Medeama SC and the Black maidens job so I have decided to lay down my position as coach of the club. However, I’m ready to handle any other position at the club except the coaching job”.
“I have been in charge since the previous coach left but I believe this is the time to leave for a different person to take charge of the team”
“I have done my part and want somebody to continue from here,
“I came here to build a legacy and I’m proud of what we have achieved together as a collective unit.
“But in our profession, you have to move on at some point.”
He took over as Medeama coach following the sacking of Prince Owusu.
