Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has described Mohammed Camara as an incredible talent.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper joins the Ghana Premier League giants on a two-year deal from Soar Academy.

“Mohammed Camara is an outstanding goalkeeper with incredible talent. His agility, quick reflexes, and ability to command his area make him a perfect fit for our team,” Ogum told the club website.

“He comes highly recommended, and we are confident he will be a great asset to our club. His positive remarks about our club reflect the strong culture and unity we have here. We are thrilled and believe that with him, Frederick (Asare), and Fatao, we have a very solid goalkeeping group,” he added.

Mohammed Camara becomes the club’s tenth signing in the ongoing summer transfer window.

He made an impressive 26 appearances last season for Soar Academy.

Asante Kotoko is bolstering the squad as it aims to compete for the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, having finished outside the top four last season.
