The Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber for Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD), Senyo Hosi has vehemently denied bribery allegations leveled against him.
According to him, he does not have any incentive to offer $ 1 million dollar bribe to the Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Ltd (BOST), Alfred Obeng Boateng.
His reaction comes after the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong claims he [Hosi] and one Kwame Bediako have vowed to ensure the BOST CEO is removed from office.
The motive for this plan, Mr. Agyapong noted is because they [Hosi, Kwame] didn’t win the bid to buy contaminated fuel from BOST and the contract was awarded to Zup Oil and Movenpiina.
The Assin Central MP who claim to have all the evidence said he will hand them over the security agencies for them to be dwelt with.
In a rebuttal on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Thursday, Senyo Hosi expressed shock at the wild allegation.
He indicated that, he does not sell oil thus has no motivation to win the bid to buy contaminated fuel from BOST.
“I’m I mad to buy contaminated fuel into my car? The allegation is just not true” he bemoaned.
Senyo Hosi said he would seek legal redress for the libelous allegation being leveled against him to clear his name.
