GWL to embark on revenue mobilization from Nov 1

The Ghana Water Limited (GWL) management in the Northern and Savannah Regions has announced a revenue mobilization exercise to recover outstanding arrears and tackle illegal connections.

The exercise, scheduled from November 1 to December 31, 2024, will focus on identifying self-reconnections and preventing unauthorized use of in-line booster pumps.

In a statement, GWL stated: “The management of Ghana Water Limited (GWL) for the Northern and Savannah Regions wishes to inform the public and its valued customers that it will conduct a revenue mobilization exercise across these regions from November 1 to December 31, 2024.

“This initiative aims to retrieve outstanding arrears, identify and address illegal connections, detect self-reconnections, and eliminate the unauthorized use of in-line booster pumps.”

GWL encourages customers to promptly settle their arrears through its official online channels or designated pay points across the two regions to avoid service interruptions.
