Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Maradona Yeboah Adjei, popularly known as Guru NKZ, has been disqualified from the University of Ghana SRC Presidential election.
This was announced in a statement issued by the Electoral Commission of the University of Ghana Student Representative Council(SRC).
The Commission cites Article 30, which stipulates that candidates who qualify to be elected must be campus residents and must qualify to contest for a JCR position in their hall.
However, during vetting, Guru and his running mate, Jeffery Adu Yeboah confirmed that they are not residents of any hall.
In this regard, they have been disqualified from the race though the ticket received massive endorsement and was tipped to win.
