The Deputy CEO of Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) is accusing her CEO, Kwadwo Antwi of failing to live up to the office’s mandate and preferring to travel rather than work.
Oheneba Akua Manfo, popularly known as Akua Blakofe in a Facebook post confirmed her resignation at the end of May, citing some irregularities at the company.

According to her, she took the bold decision to resign because she “wanted to work, and not travel and take per diems.”
She also claimed she is being excluded from carrying out her duties.
“There are no management meetings. He just travels, travels and travels. If I see his driver, it means he is in the country but if I don’t see his driver then that means he is not in the country,’ she said.
Akua Blakofe accused the CEO of sidelining her and employing the services of two other people yet she claims “I don’t see what we are doing”.
She noted that after receiving her appointment letter in February 2017, she had to complain for months before a management meeting was held to discuss the activities of the company in August 2017.
