This request follows the EC’s announcement on Wednesday, October 9, that it would begin printing ballot papers and notices of polls.

Election Watch Ghana is also requesting a full breakdown of the bidding process, including the names and details of the bidding companies, the methodology and criteria used to evaluate the bids, minutes of meetings where political parties were informed of the final selections, and copies of communication between the EC and the shortlisted companies.

Meanwhile, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has also called for transparency regarding the ballot printing process.

The NDC is scheduled to meet with the EC on Thursday, October 10, to discuss plans to start printing notices of poll and ballot papers on Friday, October 11.
