Head coach of the National U17 national team, Paa Kwesi Fabian has said he has groomed the players for the future in spite of their poor performance in India.
According to hi, he finds solace in the fact that he has been able to build a team to replace Ghana’s current Black Stars.
The former manager of both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak has been in charge of three successive generations of Ghana’s U17 team but has failed to succeed at the world stage.
This, Mr. Fabian said makes him happy with his ability to develop and unearth talents.
“I am happy I have been able to groom players once again who can grow to even play for the senior national team”.
The Black Starlets dream of winning the U17 World Cup in India was cut short the quarter final stage Mali.
The players have however learnt their lessons and have vowed to redeem Ghana’s image in the next competition.
